Over the past decade there has been a phenomenal interest in preserving and collecting antique tractors and construction equipment. To satisfy the interest in learning about the background of these captivating machines, Heimburger House Publishing Company will release Classic Vintage Crawlers & Dozers Volume II, the second in a two-volume coffee table set of books featuring these unique machines. The book is due in October.

Classic Vintage Crawlers & Dozers Vol. II focuses on Caterpillar models from 1950 through 1979, Cletrac, John Deere, Eimco, Euclid, Terex and International Harvester, as well as smaller manufacturers, wheel dozers, blade makers, crawler attachments, circus and railroad crawlers. From mini-dozers to super dozers and everything in between this all-color volume, and Volume I of this book, covers the entire United States landscape of the fascinating world of crawlers and dozers.

The 256-page 11 x 10 inch semi-softcover Volume II edition includes 12 chapters, tracing the evolution of the bulldozer, and describing the different makes and models through the years. The book features 402 color photos and an additional 172 black and white illustrations of crawlers and dozers and their related equipment, concentrating on the horsepower, engine types, weights, blades and special attachments.

Caterpillar’s Golden Years were between 1950-1970 and are thoroughly covered in this book; Cletrac, one of the earliest crawler makers, grew to be one of the top performers by the mid-1930s. John Deere started in 1948, and concentrated on farm equipment, but is a top crawler manufacturer as well. Eimco primarily manufactured mining equipment but entered the construction field in 1950; it was acquired by General Motors in 1954 and was operated as a separate division until 1968. International Harvester, also thoroughly featured in the book, dominated the agricultural machinery business and started making crawlers in the late 1920s.

The first crawler volume covered Allis-Chalmers and Monarch, J.I. Case and Caterpillar to 1949, plus listed all the Holt, Best and Caterpillars of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. Both volumes feature the text and crawler photographs in chronological order so the reader can follow development of the machines through the years, and both volumes have appendices listing all makes and models in chronological order, along with horsepower, weights and other data.

Throughout the research period for these books, hundreds of crawler photographs were taken at shows, and numerous illustrations were gathered from libraries, machinery manufacturing companies and from private collections. The bulldozer has been man’s continual helpmate in making the earth a better place to live.

Amato and co-author Don Heimburger both gravitate towards heavy equipment: Amato has a professional background in mining and petroleum, and has a life-long interest in bulldozers and other earthmoving equipment. Heimburger is a writer/editor and owns his own publishing company; this is the 12th book he was written.

We see that there are special people hired for the job of handling the heavy equipments and we also see that with the industry is one of the booming industry that we have. People are paying high prices compensation for the successful operation of heavy equipments. We see that there are some heavy industry and capable of proper recruitment of employees is also very important. For all those still deciding on a career move can certainly think of heavy industry as it is one of the booming sectors that are currently available.

 

If we take a look at a shipyard we do not see that there are some heavy equipments work and some of them are used for the purpose of loading and unloading of goods. Then we can also take samples of the mining industry and various construction sites as well as we see that there are several options for using heavy equipments. Apart from the machine there are millions of activities that work on sites as well. Without the forces at work it will get difficult to continue the process of construction. The demand for labor in any field is essential as the machines simply can not function independently. So you have to take steps to strengthen the labor force to get the maximum out of heavy equipments.

 

Have you ever analyzed the drawback or discomfort you may have to face if you do not pay attention to the fitness equipments? Well, fitness and healthy life is an important issue and should be taken seriously by all and sundry. Although we can see that any heavy vehicle made for engineering is known as the bulldozer but the general case we find that a tractor is also known as the bulldozer with a dozer blade.

 

The combat engineering vehicles used mainly for construction jobs battlefield is also very effective form of equipment that has many benefits in fact. The compact roller is also an effective method of construction and you can see another kind of function in a construction site as it is very useful for the purpose of removing dirt and comes in handy used during the process of road lying. So there is indeed a lot of examples for the purpose of construction equipment and each has a significant use and all should be used in a particular form to get the maximum results.

 

Exercise is the key to good health and for that there are numerous fitness equipments available which should be used. If you stay fit you can achieve all these tasks quite easily. Therefore it is essential to pay great attention to fitness. In contemporary life, we are surrounded by different types of stress and to combat stress such as proper fitness regime must be followed and regular use of exercise equipment is also required that such a trend mill and other others’ t different weight equipments. Diet is extremely important part of fitness too with equipments. Exercise alone will certainly not help if you are looking to develop a fit body. Proper exercise should be coupled with proper diet. With the equipments do keep in mind that the free hand exercise is also required which will not have the use of weight. Use of high amounts of protein and minerals are needed. No diet, exercise can lead to muscle fatigue and tiredness. It is a given fact that our body needs fuel to function properly and fuel that can only come from proper diet.
